Server Sentinel 1.0 is a server monitoring utility for Macintosh. Sentinel will check your servers at specified intervals, and then run events like e-mailing or paging administrators, running AppleScripts and applications, resetting crashed computers with hardware reset devices, and much more. So don't worry - your systems will stay up without you.

  9. System Requirements
  10. Sentinel will run on any Power Macintosh running Mac OS 8 and up, including G3 and G4 machines, iMacs, and iBooks. It uses 4-8 megabytes of active memory.

  13. Sentinel is very easy to use. However, if you still have questions, you can e-mail us at support@intellisw.com for assistance. Registered users always take priority when it comes to support issues.

Server Sentinel 1.0 costs $30 to register. You can pay by mail or fax with the Register application included, or you can register online via credit card. When you register, you'll receive your activation code instantly. If you're not fully satisfied within 30 days, e-mail us at refunds@intellisw.com for a prompt refund.

  22. PowerKey Notes
  23. Sentinel is capable of working with PowerKey Pro from Sophisticated Circuits, Inc. Each task can toggle or reset a device. Although PowerKey Pro is not available in a USB version, our tests have shown it to work perfectly with Sentinel on USB Macs with an ADB to USB adapter, such as the iMate from Griffin Technologies. Any ADB based Power Mac should be able to use the PowerKey Pro and Server Sentinel together without any additional adapters.
